The Complete Shipping Timeline
Shipping time with KakoBuy is a multi-stage process. From the moment you place an order, the timeline includes supplier processing, domestic shipping to the warehouse, QC inspection, international shipping, and final delivery to your door.
Understanding each stage helps you set realistic expectations. Many buyers assume the shipping time starts when they pay, but the actual clock starts when the supplier processes the order. The period between your payment and the supplier processing is the first variable.
Each stage has its own typical duration and potential delays. By understanding these stages, you can estimate when your package will arrive and identify where delays are occurring.
Stage 1: Supplier Processing
Supplier processing usually takes 3-7 days. Popular items that are in stock may ship within 1-2 days. Rare or high-demand items that require restocking can take 1-2 weeks. Check the spreadsheet for restock estimates.
During this stage, the supplier prepares your item and ships it to the KakoBuy warehouse. This is the stage you have the least visibility into. KakoBuy will update the status when the item arrives at the warehouse.
If an item is out of stock, KakoBuy will notify you and offer a refund or wait for restock. This is why checking recent batch availability and restock dates on the spreadsheet is important before ordering.
Stage 2: Warehouse QC and Photos
When the item arrives at the warehouse, KakoBuy takes 1-2 days to process it and take QC photos. This is the most critical stage for quality verification.
Do not skip QC inspection. Review the photos carefully for flaws, sizing issues, or color differences. If you approve the item, it moves to the shipping stage. If you reject it, KakoBuy will request a replacement, which adds a few days to the timeline.
The quality of QC photos has improved in 2026. Higher resolution and better lighting make it easier to spot issues. Request additional photos if the initial set is unclear or does not show the details you need.
Stage 3: International Shipping and Delivery
International shipping to the US depends on the shipping line you choose. Express lines like DHL and FedEx typically deliver in 7-14 days. Standard lines like EMS take 14-25 days. Budget lines can take 20-40 days.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Customs processing can add 1-7 days depending on the volume at the port and whether your package is selected for inspection. Carrier delays during peak seasons can extend timelines further.
For the most accurate estimate, track your package after it ships. Most shipping lines provide tracking numbers that update at each checkpoint. Use the tracking link to monitor progress and identify any delays.
Realistic Total Timelines
For express shipping, the total realistic timeline from order to door is 2-4 weeks. This includes supplier processing, domestic shipping, QC, and international transit. Express shipping is the best choice if you need items within a month.
For standard shipping, the total timeline is 3-6 weeks. Standard lines balance cost and speed. They are the most popular choice for regular purchases.
For budget shipping, the total timeline is 4-8 weeks. Budget lines are the cheapest option but require patience. If you are not in a hurry and want to save on shipping, budget lines are the way to go.
Plan ahead and order early if you need items by a specific date. Add a buffer of 1-2 weeks to your estimate to account for unexpected delays.
